(CP) - Ralph Klein said sorry Thursday for being late to his own hanging.

But the former Alberta premier, whose flight was delayed, arrived in good time to unveil his official legislature portrait before 150 applauding friends, family and colleagues who jammed two levels of the marble rotunda for the ceremony.

“I do apologize for being late to my own hanging,” the 12th premier said to laughter and applause after he, along with his father Phil Klein, stood by as the green covering was pulled off the artwork. Read more

A combination of metal, mutt and master!

This was an absolute pleasure to draw….a combination of biking and dogs, is heaven sent….2 of my favourite things!

The owner liked it….a lot. There again, everybody we draw for, ends up loving their portraits!
